Cone Beam CT and Temporo Mandibolar Joint

CBCT can be useful for analysing:

          - bone modifications of the condyle:
                  flattening, erosion, sclerosis, osteophytosis, resorption
 
         - the interarticular space: 
                 normal, increased, decreased, bone contact between the
                 condyle and the mandibular bone
               
         -  bone modifications of the mandibular fossa:
                 normal, sclerotic, eroded, reabsorbed
